Dragonlance - the whole pantheon. Especially the different gods of magic for different alignments. if i had to pick one though it would probably be Kiri-Jolith or Takhisis

The Realms - Oghma, Illmater, Clangeddin Silverbeard, Elistraee, Malar, Solonor Thelandira, Velsharoon.

    PHB - the new bane.

In general, I prefer a smaller number of deities/divine forces, unless the game is set up to focus on divine challenges.

I love Eberron's overall religious picture, especially the distinction between 2 very different kinds of good/pro-civilization religious beliefs. I much prefer that to the "god for everything" set up of the Realms.

Outside of explicitly WotC/TSR D&D, I loved Green Ronin's Book of the Righteous. I also like the (apparent) simplicity of the Oronthon/Adversary/Uedii setup in Sepulchrave's famous Story Hour at ENWorld.

Well it'd be Moradin, as any right proppuh dwarf could tell you. Close second might be The Lady of Pain, Vecna, or Oghma.

    Why?
    Moradin: Dwarffather - 'Nuff said.
The Lady of Pain: Saw a jaywalker erupt in a fountain of blood once, sold me on her.
Vecna: The hand, the eye, the necromancy...
    Oghma: (its secret)

I did get a kick out of the Eberron deities the Lord of Blades (I think) and the Undying Court.

Eberron's whole scheme is very appealing to me. Not having gods take physical form and start messing with the world directly is cool. And it makes the concept of faith far more realistic. You can go your whole adventuring career as a cleric acting in the name of a god without any definitive proof during that career that the god exists. In Eberron, you know something's granting you your spells, you just don't know what it is. And this system also allows for clerics of the same god of opposing alignments.

That said, I still dig the Realms gods. And Ilmater is my favorite. A complex deity that most people would laugh at. It's a challenge to roleplay an Ilmatari.
