In memory of the past campaigns

[/INDENT]With 5e in the works, I woul like to take a moment to remember past campaign settings that did not make it to 4e. My favorites were spelljammer, Planescape, Coucil of Wurms, Masquarade of the Red Death, Ravenloft, and Bithright. I even liked many of historical like worlds like the one set in the time of Rome. I am sure you can add others to this list since there was a lot of campaigns in 2e. I wish I still had many of these old campaigns today.

I'm sure we'll see them again in one manner or another. I'm a big fan of Planescape and Spelljammer myself.

I was a bit sad to not see Dragonlance. That setting holds a lot of great memories for me. I am glad we didn't see a Ravenloft setting to stand on its own but this is because I think that the setting worked best when added as an adventure arc to a pre-existing campaign. Most of the settings that were mentioned by shauno can be purchased used and then updated for your campaign by yourself. It may be some work but if that is what you enjoy go make it.
