[Arcanum Syndicate] and [Scrying Eye Games] New Release

Arcanum Syndicate and Scrying Eye Games have joined forces to bring the Pray for Dawn campaign module and Roads to Nowhere battle maps into one stunning PDF for only $10.00.

Pray for Dawn is 145 pages of a post apocalyptic, survival, horror campaign created for the Chaos 6010 A.D. role-playing game. Although of course this module can be used to fit any game setting. The players awaken on a pile of dead bodies with no memory of who one another is, or of the events that led them to this point. There is a storm coming and it will be night soon. Their only shelter from the acid rains and horrible plague hounds of the wastelands is a distant city on the horizon. When the players reach this city they come to find it abandoned, an entire ghost town. As the players attempt to find food, supplies, and answers to their strange loss of memory they realize the sun is setting and all hell is about to unfold.

The players must quickly become a crew no matter if some of the characters may be good or some evil. They must band together using their skills and abilities to keep each other alive. They realize that they must survive at least one night in this total nightmare together or become permanent residents of this forgotten city.

The module comes complete with gruesomely awesome artwork, a chapter that covers a memorable cast of characters, a chapter filled with new monsters and undead, a random encounter table for the streets of Necropolis, and tables for narcotics, weapons, and gear.

Scrying Eye Games creates excellent and detailed battle maps. They have done splendid work with their Roads to Nowhere addition where they have created post apocalyptic streets and buildings for your miniatures to do battle on. You can pick this bundle up at drivethrurpg and rpgnow.com. Please check out other products from Arcanum Syndicate as well at this link. http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/index....turers_id=3578

Good luck to you all in your struggles fellow gamers and may the shadows hide your path.

    Chaos 6010 A.D.

Chaos is a dark future game based on a realm that spans the width of the universe. Classic races still exist in this game such as the elves, dwarves, ogres, etc. They are simply aliens from other planets. In this game the elves (Eldrynn) have united with the humans to make the Armethian Empire, thus the population of Earth has become very much half eldrynn. When the apocalypse happened on Earth (caused initially by an asteroid that carried an artifact on it that opened a gate to Hell), the eldrynn race came to our world through magical gates to try and save the humans from extinction. When they arrived they helped to fight off the demons and close the Soul Gate. The humans taught the eldrynn race more about technology, science, cybernetics, space travel. The elves in return taught humans how to use magic again and more about spirituality and religion.

As time passed the other races are found, the remaining dwarves were discovered when they landed on the colonies of Mars in a refugee ship. The org (orcs) wiped out their homeworld with biological weapons and the remaining survivors escaped in a large vessel to start again mining on Mars for the Armethian Empire.
I don't want to tell the whole book and bore anyone but it is a pretty long back story and kind of shortened in the rulebook by a timeline that explains what happened on specific dates through history.

The core rulebook is 300 pages and allows players to choose from 20 different alien races and 20 different character classes. There is a great deal of information crammed into the book as when I wrote it I wished for people to be able to play the game with the purchase of only one book. Of course as time progressed it is inevitable to come to the realization that in order to survive as a game company there must be more products available to sell. As well with the later sourcebooks I wanted to detail everything and give it more story and such.

You use a d20 as your primary attack and defense die. You want to match or beat the result of your enemy to defend, and beat your enemies' roll (with modifications) when attacking. Skills and attributes have a ladder or step like progression where you roll different dice combinations and try and reach a target number or beat the enemies' result during resisted checks. Cover and such adds to your defense roll during missile attacks, and armor is used to soak damage. The mechanics of the combat system are quick and easy to understand and it allows for some epic come backs. Skill dice, attribute tests, and damage all operate with what I call max continuance or (exploding dice) so it is entirely possible to kill your enemy with a single dagger attack at low level. It is a dangerous damage system, but like most of the testers said before, "guns are made to kill people, if you get shot, you might die." As long as your game master doesn't put you up against bad guys with AKs at first level you should be good.

I would love to tell more but I don't want to ruin it. You can check us out on facebook at Chaos 6010 A.D. or all our products are on drivethrurpg.com or rpgnow.com under Arcanum Syndicate. Thanks for reading all, and good luck in your struggles.
